Drama offers our students the opportunity to develop expressive skills and to convey ideas and feelings through dramatic action. Based on improvisation and play building, courses are designed to develop students’ skills and confidence through performances to peers as well as local primary schools, parents, and members of the public.

In the elective subject of drama students gain an understanding of the artistic and creative processes needed to make drama, as well as an appreciation of the nature of performance and the connection between performers and their audience.

Students actively engage through the Arts Unit NSW and participate in Drama Ensembles, State Drama Festivals, Student Drama Workshops and excursions to NIDA.
