This award scheme aims to recognise and reward students who consistently display excellent attitude and application in the classroom.

Merit Award Scheme Levels
Positives
Are given by all staff members and activity organisers. Positives can be rewarded for the following behaviours:

BRONZE AWARD - Awarded after receiving at least 20 Positives
SILVER AWARD - Awarded after receiving at least 30 Positives
GOLD AWARD - Awarded after receiving at least 60 Positives
PLATINUM AWARD PRINCIPAL AWARD- This is a highly sought after award presented to an elite group of students at the end of Term 4.
The Platinum Award is reached by achieving at least 100 Positives, having regular attendance and consistently wearing school uniform. Students must also follow the Student Responsibility System and reflect the school values of being Safe, Cooperative and Respectful.
Student of the Term Award
Throughout Terms 1 – 3 students who receive an award as part of the Merit Scheme will be nominated to be selected as the Student of the Term. Staff will vote for the winner from each year group.
Student of the Year Award
This is awarded in Term 4 to the student who collected the most Positives in each year group throughout the year.
Uniform Merit Awards
Roll call teachers regularly recognise students who wear correct uniform. Students are given a voucher to be placed in a draw at Assembly. Students win $5.00 voucher for the Canteen (supported by the P & C).
