Last Friday, the Under 15 Girl’s Netball team competed in a Gala Day where the first two rounds of the CHS Knockout competition were contested. The girls’ first game against Nambucca High School was a very close match with the lead changing many times during the game. Unfortunately Nambucca managed to score a few goals in succession in the last quarter which resulted in them claiming the match.

The girls played a second game against Melville High. The game enabled the players to try out new positions and moves to win the game 60 – 6.

A big thank you to Avalon Sandbrook for scoring and Faith Elliott for umpiring. I have lost count of the number of times Faith has umpired netball games for the school. She always does a magnificent job and we will miss her next year.
