Last weekend Hastings Secondary College was represented at the Tournament of Minds (ToM) State Finals in Sydney, held at the UNSW. This was a fantastic experience for our Social Science ToM team as they were set a challenge to explain how identity theft can happen and the possible consequences. They were locked in a room for three hours to write a script, create props and movement for a 10 minute presentation. The group performed excellently and the audience witnessed their team work and creative skills. They represented the campus with dignity and respect in the spirit of ToM. We should all be proud of their achievements. The seven team members included Matilda Stewart, Ruby Gallagher, Sam Reniers, Charlotte Mansfield, Felicity Wilson, Miah Noble and Patch Rudd.
