Year 11 Port Macquarie Campus students Nina Walters and Mackenzie Toone-Spokes have recently been selected to attend the National Youth Science Forum. To gain this opportunity both students have made it through two very competitive levels of selection panels at Port Macquarie and Walcha. Nina and Mackenzie will join a selection of students from around Australia to undertake this highly sought after program.

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is an Australian program dedicated to exposing Year 11 students who are heading into Year 12 and are thinking about a career in science, engineering and related disciplines to major scientific institutions and researchers.  The Forum which takes place during January 2021 equips students to make more informed choices regarding their future endeavours.

The campus would like to thank the Port Macquarie Rotary Club for providing significant support and financial assistance in helping the students attend this fantastic event.
