leap mural

All our students have settled in well, and it is a pleasure each day to see happy, smiling faces, enthusiastic chatter and feel the friendly vibe that radiates around the Campus. The Campus had a memorable, successful and enjoyable swimming carnival Friday, despite the rain.

Hats off to all the outstanding teachers who brought together the campus community. These events do not happen without a great deal of time and organisation behind the scenes. There were lots of smiles and so many enthusiastic kids willing to participate and encourage each other.

I would also like to wish our swimming competitive swimmers' good luck for tomorrow as they compete in Kempsey for the zone swimming carnival.

I had the pleasure this week of being part of the opening of the new mural developed in partnership by student Sam Cleary and artist and mentor Kim McClean. The collaboration with Kim McLean began with initial brainstorming ideas and the critical messages Sam wanted to convey in the mural design. Sam collaborated with Kim several times (in a COVID-19 safe way) to produce a design that captured Sam's vision.

A huge thank you to UNICEF for providing us with a Grant to share such a beautiful piece of artwork that connects all students to our Campus. This mural is a visual reminder of the beautiful place we live and learn in and that you can achieve the goals you set for yourself with patience, commitment and collaboration.

Senior Success afternoons take place each Monday and are an excellent opportunity to maximise students' success in the HSC and/or ATAR. The Senior Success Program is designed for all students in year 12 and is 30 minutes every Monday at your Campus. For more information, Contact Ms Garven.

We would like your child or parents on their behalf of their child to complete a questionnaire survey regarding students transport mode choices when travelling to and from school.

Your feedback will help us understand how travel by sustainable modes to school can be increased and will help identify any areas for improvement for access to your Campus. Click the link for the survey. https://bit.ly/3bfzIog
