Ian and Firies

Wow, what a week!

On advice from the Department a number of excursions were postponed due to the fire activity. Year 10 Peer Support training will be rescheduled to next week and the Lego League that was due to happen on Friday will be rescheduled in a few weeks time.

Last Sunday a number of our staff created care packages that were distributed to bush fire control centres in our area. We have also provided funding to the Ruins Café at Lake Innes Village, to help supply the fire fighters with food and good coffee. Those people that have been operating on the front line over the past few weeks need to be congratulated. Job well done.

I would like to pass on my thanks also to the school community for your support and understanding during this difficult week. Student, staff and community safety is paramount and our aim is to stand shoulder to shoulder with various organisations, in times such as these, to ensure that members of our educational community are supported.

Please view with interest the remainder of our newsletters and the great things our students are achieving as school continues this term.

Warm regards,
