“You've got to think about big things while you're doing the small things, so that all the small things go in the right direction.” Alvin Toffler.
I love this quote by Alvin Toffler because I see all of the small things completed with expertise at our campus. In this newsletter, we demonstrate just some of our ‘small’ things. With each day, staff and students put in equal parts of courage, patience, work, kindness, hope and good humour in order to achieve amazing results.
These small things included Wheelchair Basketball, the NAMBUS visit, Dance Festival, Table Tennis, Regional Zone Athletics and Emerging Leader Series with Port Macquarie News.
The Lower North Coast Dance Festival is four incredible days and nights of witnessing the hard work and dedication of our Public School teachers and staff come to fruition to allow over 1200 students to shine on stage. One moment on a stage can inspire, support, boost, shape or even just brighten the life of a young person. Our students were privileged to take the stage a number of times throughout the week to sell out crowds and participate in workshops from industry professionals. For the first time this year the event was compered by students, all of which attend the College. We are very proud of their efforts - take a bow!
Thankyou to Ms Farmer and Mrs Moylan, who spent long hours at the Glasshouse supporting our students. The quality of dance was outstanding and we were by far, the best compares!

We are excited to announce the successful tender for our school canteen! Congratulations to Rose Petal Café. A panel made up of campus staff, students and myself had a very difficult task with reviewing outstanding applications.
Having met with students, it is very obvious that track pants would be a welcome addition to our uniform wardrobe. This has been approved across the College in principle. I have approached Mid Coast Uniform to source a range of options for our students to look at.
A stocktake of our current uniform items will take place this Friday. This is to allow for a formal handover from the P&C to the school to take place on Monday 24 June. There will be no changes to pricing or access to the uniform shop. The existing opening times still exist. That is, 2 days a week on a Monday and Thursday. Additionally, parents can approach the Administration staff at any time to purchase uniform items.
