Port Macquarie Campus has much to be proud of—championship robotic and sporting teams, award-winning students, an experienced teaching staff, a diverse curriculum, and a dedication to excellence that permeates all aspects of our school.

Your children—our students—have so far this term excelled in academics, in music and the creative arts, in sports and tournament of the minds  – but also in service to the community and in care and compassion for each other and others with whom they interact each day.

We have the highest of expectations and encourage all to continue upholding our three core values of demonstrating respect, being safe and doing your best.  By maintaining these standards, all of our students will be ready to meet the challenges of today’ world and the future.

Parent Lounge Session – Thursday 15 August – revised Mobile Phone Policy

I was thrilled to see the number of parents attend our parent lounge last night. It was a constructive discussion about the health risks mobile phones pose for our students and the reasons we want to support students in managing their mobile devices more effectively. Parents took home a copy of the draft policy. I have attached the draft for all parents to view and invite you to make comment.  We must continually teach our young people about safe, timely and responsible use. I would ask that feedback is provided to me by Friday 23 August.

Sky Stories tonight

Don’t forget our Sky Stories evening at Sancrox Reserve! Starts at 5pm. We have a great line up for this event. The Deadly Runners, Aboriginal dancers, virtual reality moon tours, giant telescopes and treasure hunt are ready to go. Westport Campus hospitality students will be serving tea, coffee and sweets for sale, along with a free BBQ. See you there!
