Meaghan - beach

Well, it is here!

Despite fire, tempest and plague – coupled with extended periods of isolation and learning from home - we have managed to get our Year 12 students through the most unexpected year in their relatively short lives and delivered them safely to the threshold of the HSC.

We are not quite there yet, the next few weeks will be critical in navigating a safe path through to the final exam and the long-awaited and much talked about graduations, but we are close.

As well as wishing your students all the best for the exams, I would like to congratulate our magnificent staff, students and community through these tumultuous times.  When the unimaginable happened, when the rules changed on an almost daily basis, we stood up. I would like to thank our Presiding Officer, Mr Mark Longstaff and his team for ensuring the smooth running of the HSC examinations for our students.

Year 12 Graduation

In the interests of allowing parents to be more involved in the Graduation Ceremony, we have moved the date to Thursday, 12 November 2020 commencing at 11.00 am in the school Multi Purpose Centre (MPC).  The ceremony should conclude at approximately 12:00 pm. A morning tea for students and parents will be held at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, each student is permitted a maximum of 2 guests. The two guests MUST BE immediate family members who reside at the same address as the student or at least reside in the Port Macquarie area. All guests will be required to sign a Covid-19 register and record contact details (mobile number and address) upon entering school grounds. All guests will be socially distanced in the MPC.

Students attended a rehearsal on Thursday, 24 September. Official photos of students receiving portfolios from the Principal were taken at the rehearsal.
