Important announcement regarding Year 10 5.3 Advanced Mathematics that was to be held on Thursday 26 March
The Year 10 Advanced mathematics assessment tasks that were to be held today now take place on Monday 30 March at 1:15 pm.
Port Macquarie Campus preference is that students attend at school and sit the task under the supervision of staff. We would ensure that procedures of social distancing are enforced with no more than nine students and a staff member per classroom. The task would be conducted between 1:15 pm and 2:15 pm.
We ask that the students report to the covered area in the lower quad by 1:00 pm on Monday 30 March so that they can be directed to a classroom.
If a student is unable to attend school for this task, they can do the task at home. They must be supervised by a responsible adult that is prepared to sign off that the assessment task has been done under examination conditions.
In this situation, the task will be available for collection from the Front Office from 12:00 pm on Monday 30 March. The tasks must be returned to the Front Office by 3:30 pm on 30 March with the supervisor’s declaration attached.
If a student wishes to use this option, an email needs to be sent to Mrs Heather O’Brien, relieving Head Teacher of Mathematics, by 2:00 pm Friday 27 March on email:firstname.lastname@example.org.
If a student is unwell or unable to do the task for any other reason under NESA regulations, then they must complete an Illness or Misadventure form as they would for any other task.
