Tuesday 9 November - message from (Rel) Port Macquarie Campus Principal, Robert Lyttle

Dear Parents and Carers of Port Macquarie Campus,

As you may be aware, our school site was made non-operational for the onsite attendance of staff and students due to a member of our school community who tested positive to COVID-19.

The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health have been working closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained. This work has included identifying close contacts of the confirmed case.

The students and staff identified as contacts have been notified and asked to self-isolate for the required period. The school has been thoroughly cleaned and our school will be operational for the onsite attendance of staff and students from Wednesday 10 November 2021.

Students who are sitting HSC exams are advised that exams will continue at the school as planned.

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.

Further information on COVID-19 is available on the NSW Government website. Further information about the NSW Department of Education response to COVID-19 is available on the Departments website.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Robert Lyttle
Principal
