Underwater

Highlights from Lady Elliot Island. Everyone is having a great time!

College Marine Science students and their teachers have arrived safely at Lady Elliot Island. Students are conducting Coral Health Surveys (Coral Watch) for The University of Queensland. This data will be used by scientists to monitor the reef health.

Highlights so far...Mr Godson has taken one of the students for her first SCUBA dive on the Great Barrier Reef. They were met at the bottom by three Bottlenose dolphins! They also saw a manta ray, shark, turtles and humpbacks were breaching not too far out. They could hear the whale song the entire dive. So amazing!
