Ian Ross Principal of Hastings Secondary College has taken on the challenge to Dance for Cancer. Ian is passionate about education and has volunteered to be part of Dancing with the stars as he wants to make a difference in the broader community.
The Student Representative Council (SRC) will be holding a mega raffle drawn on Monday 1 April 2019.
Students are calling out to our community for donations of raffle items that can be raffled to raise money for Cancer Awareness.
Ian is inspired by the work of Cancer Council NSW and wants to support them by raising money as part of his participation in Stars of the Hastings 2019.
The more people that know about Cancer Council NSW, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
Bravery is not the absence of fear, it is the courageous action to face the fear, and it is in those times that you learn to be grateful for every moment life has to offer.
Students would like to thank our community for their support including a $50 dinner voucher to Westport Club. We are looking for vouchers, products and services which could be added to this mega raffle and appreciate donations from friends, family and supporters of Hastings Secondary College.
Our students are excited about promoting businesses and individuals who supply goods and services to be raffled. All funds raised stay in the Port Macquarie-Hastings community.
