One of Australia’s top psychologists Dr Michael Carr-Gregg visited Port Macquarie to discuss ways to improve the mental health of students in Hasting Valley Community of Schools (HVCS) Years 5 - Year 12.
Dr Carr-Gregg spoke with over 2000 students and 250 community members during his time in Port Macquarie. The event reinforced the important messages that partnership between Hastings Valley Community of Schools and parents and carers is all about building resilience and responsibility in their children, while providing a deeply engaging learning event on critical issues that directly affect our students.
